Logistics and Freight Tracking Software
Logistics software lets a transport or logistics company track its shipments, vehicles, documents and payments in a single system. In international transport every shipment is a file: customer, cargo, route, vehicle and driver, CMR and customs documents, payments. When this information is scattered across Excel sheets and messages, errors and delays are inevitable. At Kayrus Tech we built such a system for BNK Lojistik, an international logistics company based in Antalya; with the same experience we develop custom software for logistics and transport companies.
What should logistics software include?
- Shipment files: customer, route, loading and delivery dates and status for every load.
- Vehicles and drivers: which vehicle is on which trip, where it is now, when its documents expire.
- Documents: CMR, invoices, customs paperwork and photos attached to the shipment file.
- Payments and cash: agreed amount, deposit, remaining balance, trip expenses.
- Customer tracking link: a page where the customer can see the status of their cargo in their own language.
- Quotes: sending PDF quotes to customers in more than one language.
The BNK Lojistik example
In the panel we developed for BNK Lojistik, the office team manages shipments, vehicles, customers, payments and cash from one place; the old Excel records were imported into the system, documents are attached to the relevant shipment and the team is kept informed with instant notifications. The same project also includes a four-language corporate website and a customer tracking page. Details are in the BNK Lojistik case study.
Off-the-shelf logistics program or custom software?
Off-the-shelf transport programs may be enough for accounting and trip records. If your company has its own file structure, needs multilingual customer communication or has to import data from your existing spreadsheets, custom software is the better fit.
What determines the quote?
- Shipment types and file structure
- Vehicle, driver and document modules
- Payment, cash and accounting connections
- Import of existing data
- Customer tracking page and number of languages
Frequently asked questions

Yes; if the people in the office and in the field work in different languages, the panel can be prepared in Turkish, English and Russian.
Can customers track their cargo?
